Tennessee State University Building New Agricultural Research Facility

Tennessee State University in Nashville recently broke ground for construction of the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Building. It is the university’s first new academic building in the past six years.

The 30,000-square-foot facility was made possible by a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. When completed in the fall of 2013, the new facility will provide working and laboratory space for 20 new Ph.D. scholars conducting research in the agricultural sciences.
