  1. Three members of my family are graduates of South Carolina State University. It’s a tough cookie! Dr. Cynthia Warrick needs to employ a full-time intercessor with a Moses anointing if she is to survive and prosper.

Dr. Warrick needs courage, wisdom and plenty of prayers. Amen

  2. Today it was announced that South Carolina State university lecturers will be working a four day week- from Monday to Thursday. They will start work at 8:30 am until 6:30 pm. Is this the shape of things to come for Historically Black colleges and universities?
With cuts to Pell Grants from 9 to 6 years, is it a way to close down some Historically black colleges who have traditionally taken more than their fair share of black students without the necessary entry credentials, but bring them up to speed over a longer period of time?

  3. CONGRATULATIONS Cynthia!

You have been seasoned and prepared for such an undertaking! Walk with your faith, ancestral strength and internal light! This is your time to shine!

    Yours in sisterhood!

  4. Dr. Cynthia Warrick was one of the most productive and innovative deans to serve in the School of Mathematics, Science & Technology during her tenure at Elizabeth City State University.

As the former chair of the department of mathematics & computer science and current E. V. Wilkins Endowed Professor of Education/STEM in the School of Education & Psychology, I congratulate and salute South Carolina State University’s Board of Trustees on their excellent selection.
