Kymberly Pinder Named Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of New Mexico

Kymberly N. Pinder has been chosen as the next dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of New Mexico. Her appointment is effective on July 1. She is a professor and former chair of the department of art history, theory, and criticism at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Dr. Pinder holds two master’s degree and a Ph.D. in art history from Yale University. She is the author of the forthcoming book, Black Public Art in Religion in Chicago.
