  1. I just wanted to know how books were recommended for this list. In particular, Emerald Press has a diversity in higher education series, a number of volumes have focused on African Americans.

    • We welcome recommendations. We tend to list books that have been recently released or are about to be published. But if we overlooked some important volumes, particularly if they relate to higher education, we would be glad to list them.

  2. Thank you for mentioning the book that I co-wrote, Race and Justice: Wrongful Convictions of African American Men. It is a comprehensive look at the problem of wrongful convictions, featuring over 300 cases. I hope that your readers will find this book worthwhile.
