Deryl Bailey Named to Endowed Visiting Professorship at Seattle University

Deryl F. Bailey, an associate professor of counseling and human development in the College of Education at the University of Georgia, is spending the winter and spring quarters at Seattle University at the Allen Boeing Endowed Chair and Distinguished Professor of Education. He will return to the University of Georgia in June. While in Seattle, Dr. Bailey will work on the Seattle Youth Initiative, an effort to improve the educational prospects of youth in inner-city neighborhoods.

Dr. Bailey has been on the University of Georgia faculty since 1999. He holds a doctorate in counselor education from the University of Virginia.
