Howard University Establishes Study Abroad Program in South Africa

Howard University in Washington, D.C. has announced the establishment of a study abroad program for undergraduate students. Under the new program a group of Howard students will spend a semester studying at the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa. Students selected for the program will take classes from July to November this year and participate in internships in Cape Town.

Jeanne Toungara, assistant provost for international programs at Howard, stated, “This is an extraordinary opportunity for our students because the program has no limitations as to the number of students we can send.”
