Cambridge College Appoints a New Provost

Elwood L. Robinson was appointed provost and vice president for academic affairs at Cambridge College. The appointment is effective July 1. The college is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but has seven other campus centers across the country.

Dr. Robinson has been on the faculty and served in many administration positions at North Carolina Central University in Durham for over 20 years. He has served as dean of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and chair of the department of psychology.

Dr. Robinson is a magna cum laude graduate of North Carolina Central University. He holds a master’s degree in psychology from Fisk University in Nashville, and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Pennsylvania State University.

Dr. Siwatu is a professor of educational psychology who has taught at Texas Tech University for nearly 20 years. Earlier this year, he was appointed interim associate dean for academic affairs.
