Four African Americans Named to New Administrative Posts

Katrice A. Albert, vice provost for equity, diversity, and community outreach at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, was recently named to the national board of directors of the nonprofit organization Volunteers of America.

Dr. Albert is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a doctorate in counseling psychology from Auburn University.

Quincy L. Moore was appointed vice president of student affairs at Rhodes State College in Lima, Ohio. Dr. Moore has decades of experience in college administration posts at Palm Beach Community College, West Chester University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

A graduate of Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, Dr. Moore earned a master’s degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a doctorate in counselor education at the University of Iowa.

Dawn Forbes Murphy was appointed director of summer sessions and certificate program for the Office of University Outreach at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro. She has served as program manager for the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation and director of student services for the School of Nursing at North Carolina A&T.

Dr. Murphy holds a bachelor’s degree in English, a master’s degree in counseling, and a doctorate in educational leadership.

Cassandra Bradley was named assistant director of residence life at North Carolina A&T State University. She was assistant director of housing and residence life at Winston-Salem State University. She has also served on the staff at Tuskegee University, Indiana University, and Vanderbilt University.

Bradley is a graduate of Bellarmine University in Louisville. She holds a master’s degree from Indiana University.
