Two Black Physicians Join the Faculty at the Howard University College of Medicine

The College of Medicine at Howard University recently announced the appointment of eight new faculty members. Two of the new appointees are black.

Majorie Warren was appointed assistant professor of psychiatry. She earned her M.D. at Howard and completed residency in psychiatry at Meharry Medical College and in radiology at the Charles Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dapo A. Ojeyemi is an instructor of orthopedic surgery. He specializes in spinal surgery. Dr. Ojeyemi earned his medical degree at the State Univerity of New York Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Howard University Hospital.

Three Black Leaders Appointed to Diversity Positions at Colleges and Universities
