Historically Black University Invests in Solar Energy

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore recently activated a 7,800-panel solar energy facility on its campus in Princess Anne. The facility, covering 17 acres of land, is the largest solar energy project in the state of Maryland. The new solar energy plant is projected to produce 3.3 million kilowatt hours within its first year.
