Tuskegee to Offer Three New Degree Programs

The board of trustees at historically black Tuskegee University in Alabama has approved the establishment of three new degree programs. Beginning in the fall of 2011, Tuskegee will offer a bachelor’s degree program in information technology. In addition, there will be a new master of public health degree and a master of science degree in public health.

The Tuskegee board  of directors also directed the university provost to develop undergraduate academic programs in civil engineering, forensic science, and mass communication. Also under development will be master’s degree programs in bioethics and psychology and Ph.D. programs in veterinary science and agricultural engineering.
