Awards

• Minnie Holmes-McNary, an associate professor of biology at North Carolina A&T State University, received a 2006 Minority-Serving Institution Faculty Scholar Award in Cancer Research from the American Association of Cancer Research. Dr. Holmes-McNary is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Springfield. She holds a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Illinois.
