Appointments

• Carmaletta Williams was appointed first executive assistant to the president for diversity initiatives at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. Williams has been a professor of English at the college.

Williams holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Kansas.
