Retirement

• James E. Lyons Sr., president of California State University Dominguez Hills since 1999, has announced that he will retire at the end of this academic year. Prior to coming to California, Dr. Lyons was president of Jackson State University in Mississippi. He also served for nine years as president of Bowie State University in Maryland.
