Big Building Plans at Alabama State University

William Harris, president of Alabama State University in Montgomery, has unveiled a new strategic plan for the campus of the historically black educational institution. Over the next decade, the university plans to complete more than $150 million in building projects including a life sciences building, a student center, student housing, a cultural center, a parking garage, a hotel and conference center, and a 32,000-seat stadium.
