Article Submission Checklist

All editorial correspondence should be addressed to The Editors, The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education, 200 West 57th Street, Suite 1304, New York, NY 10019.

The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education is an issue-oriented publication that examines the progress of African Americans in the nation's colleges and universities. Articles should be original works of thought and opinion and should not include extensive reviews of the work or published papers of others.

The editors request submission of a one-page abstract or outline prior to any article submission. Outlines can be submitted prior to the actual writing of the article. Upon consideration of the abstract, the editors will contact the author as to the suitability of the article for the journal. Abstracts may be sent to the managing editor by mail, fax (212) 245-1973), or E-mail (info@jbhe.com).

All submissions should include a curriculum vitae and any other pertinent biographical information.
