Checking Up on the Status of Online Degree Programs at HBCUs

Howard University’s Digital Learning Laboratory has released a new report on the status of online degree programs at historically Black colleges and universities.

The survey found 23 HBCUs that offered fully online degree programs. Hampton University has more online degree programs at the bachelor’s degree level than any other HBCU.

Eleven HBCUs offered master’s degree programs online. North Carolina Central University offers five master’s degree programs online, more than any other HBCUs.

Hampton University, Howard University, Morgan State University, and North Carolina A&T State University have online doctoral degree programs.
